サークル紹介　秀明ゴルフサークル

The Shumei Golf Circle was started back in October, 2005. Paul Conroy was keen to start the group after hearing that golf was one of the popular optional activities for students studying at Chaucer College in Canterbury. The Yachiyo area is also noted in the Kanto region for some famous golf courses and there are a number of good practice facilities close to the Shumei University campus.
The Golf Circle meets twice a month for a practice session at a local driving range. We also try to arrange a golf day at a local public short course twice a year. Both boys and girls can participate in this activity and beginners are encouraged to come along. Students will not need their own set of clubs.

2005年10月、秀明ゴルフサークルができました。CCCでゴルフが人気のあるスポーツということを知り、コンロイ准教授が是非開設したいと始まったものです。
八千代市周辺は関東地方でも有名なゴルフ場があることで知られ、秀明大学の近くにも多くの施設があります。
ゴルフサークルの活動は、打ちっ放し練習場で月2回行われています。また年2回は、ショートコースにも出ます。ゴルフクラブを持っていなくても参加できます。
秀明ゴルフサークルでは男女問わず、初心者も歓迎しています。興味のある方はコンロイ先生まで。
